It looks pretty scary, to me.” Thus, armed with a hand-held carbon monoxide detector, and some tools to turn off any gas appliances, and multiple warnings to Mob to leave the premises if he starts to feel ill, Reigen felt confident that he had this job handled. Reigen had asked some pertinent questions, like the age of the building, and the last time it was inspected, and came to the rather obvious conclusion that there was probably a carbon monoxide leak. The client had come to them complaining about waking up in the mornings with awful headaches and exhaustion, feeling intermittent waves of dizziness and confusion throughout the day, along with a host of general flu-like symptoms. He was a fraud and a conman, and was happy to use the kid’s powers to boost his credibility, but even he drew the line at child endangerment. ![]() He wouldn’t have brought the kid if he thought this case would be dangerous after all. “Don’t worry, Mob, this one’s gonna be a piece of cake!” Reigen assured, ruffling the elementary schooler’s mop of hair. Reigen glanced down at his young protege, noting the quiet anxiety vibrating through the child. Mob came to a stop behind him, quietly reaching out to grab hold of Reigen’s coat sleeve.
